Weekend and midweek hot tub hire

Short hires are built around the two natural blocks in the week. A weekend hire normally means delivery on Friday and collection on Monday, giving you three nights, while a midweek hire covers Monday to Friday. Because an inflatable tub can take around a day to heat from cold, Friday delivery gives you Friday night as a bonus at best, with Saturday and Sunday as the main days. Hard-shell tubs usually warm faster.

Weekends from May to September, school holidays and bank holidays book up first and are usually priced highest. Midweek hires are often cheaper and have more availability, which makes them a good choice for birthdays that fall in the week, staycation days off or anyone flexible on dates. Either way, the price includes delivery, set-up, filling, treatment and collection.

How it works

How weekend and midweek hot tub hire works, step by step
  1. Pick your block

Choose a Friday to Monday weekend or a Monday to Friday midweek slot, and check whether your preferred dates fall on a bank holiday or school holiday.

  2. Confirm the basics

We check the base, power and access, then confirm the delivery window for the first day.

  3. Set up early

Getting the tub in early on day one gives it the best chance of being fully heated by the evening.

  4. Hand back

On the last morning, stop using the tub before the collection window so it can be drained and packed away.

Weekend and midweek hot tub hire: FAQs

What time is the tub delivered and collected?

Delivery and collection times vary by supplier and route, but most give a morning or afternoon window rather than an exact time. Someone usually needs to be home at delivery to show the spot and access, and to receive the instructions. For collection, you may not need to be in if the tub is accessible and has been switched off as agreed.

Will the tub be hot on the first night?

A hard-shell tub often is, or close to it, if delivered early in the day. An inflatable heating from cold mains water usually takes around 24 hours, so it may be warm but not fully up to temperature by the first evening. Keep the cover fastened, run the heater continuously and avoid using the bubbles until it is warm.

Are bank holiday weekends more expensive?

Usually, yes. Bank holiday weekends are the most in-demand dates, and many suppliers charge more or offer four-night packages instead. They also book up weeks or months ahead in spring and summer, so it is worth booking as soon as your plans are fixed.

Can I extend the hire once the tub is here?

Often, if the tub is not booked for another customer straight afterwards. Ask as early as possible, as extensions depend on the supplier's schedule. Extending is usually good value because delivery and set-up costs have already been covered, so the extra nights cost much less than a new hire.
